More about Kendra
Kendra completed her Master’s in Somatic Counseling Psychology at Naropa University. Starting at a community clinic supporting youth, adults, and couples navigate the complexities of life. Coming from a clinical psychotherapy background, she realized that while it has its place and purpose. She wanted to work with clients not only within her state but internationally, that proximity to high quality support shouldn’t be a struggle, and that weaving her many skills and passions together is bigger than the box of therapy and felt reductionic.
Committed to trauma-informed care, multicultural awareness, social justice, body inclusive practices, and rooted in the science of the brain-body connection. Kendra is dedicated to working in collaboration with her clients diverse nervous systems supporting their individual process of healing, alchemizing the past, and growth in relationship to themselves, others, and their environment.
As a Somatic Intuitive Healing Mentor/Educator, Kendra is rooted in knowing that the body’s blueprint is to heal, to thrive, to create, and express when given the support, the resources and environment to do so. Often the fast-paced, complex systems, and disempowering medical system can leave you overwhelmed and playing catchup; where getting stuck in survival mode or looping on dysfunctional patterns become the default. Kendra guides her clients to tune into the body through sensations, emotions, breath, imagery, and memory. She trusts deeply in the clients body intelligence, wisdom, and intuition to guide the journey, that given the opportunity healing and alchemy will happen.
