Somatic + Soul  = Soulmatic™

Transforming Trauma, Pain and Repetitive Patterns

Does any of this resonate?

You’ve tried all of the things in an effort to heal, but you still don’t really feel okay.

You get stuck in your own head, and often feel disassociated from your body.

You are skeptical that things can ever get better, but hungry to for a different way to feel.

What would it feel like if you were able to…

Regulate and return to yourself through your nervous system, meeting your body in a way you’ve never have before.

Alchemize your painful experiences into your medicine: your wholeness and your truth.

Reconnect your mind and body and remind yourself how to listen to your truth, feel into your joy, and surrender.

Soulmatic offers dynamic healing that honors the whole person, where we return to alignment with the wisdom of our bodies, grow beyond trauma, and learn how to navigate life.

Testimonials

“My session with Kendra was incredibly nourishing. Her commitment to holding a truly safe space was apparent and deeply felt. I left the session with tools that I was confident I could incorporate outside of our session when my nervous system called for them as well as a beautiful reminder that healing is a process and is not one to be forced. Instead, our nervous system is to be gently supported as healing naturally unfolds, which was something I personally really needed to hear. I highly recommend Kendra’s magic to anyone desiring such support.”

“A few months into working with Kendra I noticed one day that I didn’t feel stuck in my anger or detachment, that I actually feel better in my body which is surprising and am able to respond to my kids and my wife with kindness or walk away. I feel like I have more tools to work with and that I am a better parent, husband, and have started going to a men’s group. Life has its rough spots and Kendra helped me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It is important to me to be a better role model for my kids, show them that it’s ok to feel angry or sad, that’s normal. I want to be the dad that say’s ‘It’s ok to cry!'”

Kendra has a way with words, metaphors, and cultural references mixed with a grounded/gentle/patient energy that put me at ease within the first few minutes of talking with her. She listened to what I said and was able to weave it all together. I felt safe in our session and that she wasn’t going to judge me for struggling or being messy. She taught me how to listen to my body and needs. Ooh and boundaries! I could tell she’s dealt with her fair share of challenges and came out better for it, she’s someone I want on my healing team and in another situation as a friend. I was on her waitlist and it was worth it! Thank you Kendra! Cheers to you and making beauty out of a mess!

What even is healing? When I started with Kendra I had already tried therapy, supplements, teas, lifestyle changes, so many damn things. A good friend recommended the book The Body Keeps The Score, that’s when it hit that I needed to find someone who works with trauma through the body. I found Kendra in the nick of time, I didn’t realize just how much my body was storing and things started to make sense, the insomnia, the reoccurring issues, the great-to-shit relationships. The trauma I was holding and the intergenerational trauma from my family -that was a doozy. And yet the answers or body-intelligence as Kendra would say, was there.

I don’t know how she does it but Kendra was able to go into the depth of my pain or anger or fear with such grace and compassion and have me feeling grounded, calm, clear by the end of our session. Was it hard, yes! Did it finally work, yes!

So much appreciation for you and the work you do in the painful world Kendra!

As a therapist myself I know the value and need of being supported in non-judgmental container, that I too deserve containers of deep nourishment, care, playfulness, exploration, and safety. Kendra is a beautiful combination of fiery spirit, intuition, and openness. She reminds me that I already have the answers and wisdom in every cell of my body, my bones, my jaw, that with the right environment/support I am healing and growing in ways I didn’t even know was possible. She has inspired the work I do and how I sit with clients. She has a big heart and an old soul beyond her years. I could go on and on, from my heart to yours, thank you!”

Frequently Asked Questions

Who do you work with?

I work with teens, adults, and complex relationships. I specialize in somatic, nervous system healing, and attachment repair, working with Trauma/PTSD/C-PTSD, Attachment, HPA Axis Dysfunction, Anxiety, Depression, Stressful life transitions, Relational alchemy (partner, family, colleagues, friends), HSP, and Psychedelic preparation & integration support.

What is Soulmatic healing?

Soulmatic is healing on the body and soul level, we cannot heal or alchemize traumatic experience(s) with the mind alone. Trauma and challenging experience impact the whole system down to the cellular level, so healing needs to be able to go to the cellular level. Through learning to tap into somatic intelligence, emotional agility, and soul wisdom we can transform the trauma, triggers, pain, and unhealthy patterns/habits; expanding the toolbox, resources, establishing safety, and embodiment.

How does Soulmatic healing work?

1. Trust and safety first, the foundation.

2. Going at the pace of your nervous system, trusting in the intelligence and wisdom that got you here.

3. Getting to know your internal and external ecosystems, identify patterns/themes.

4. Tending to the roots and core wounds, unweaving the patterns of trauma – leaning into curiosity, practices, and experiential growth.

5. Acknowledging, honoring, and celebrating you – the moments of feeling uncomfortable, big emotions, challenging conversations, communicating needs or boundaries, and shifting the narrative of your lineage. This is powerful and potent work, no small thing, something to honor and be proud of.

6. Embodying- Expanding your somatic intuition/body-wisdom, emotional intelligence, window-of-tolerance, and capacity to navigate life’s chaos with greater ease, tenacity, and grace. Responding to life experience(s), rather than reacting from trauma. Reclaiming your Bodyfullness, joy for life, worthiness, and pleasure (not just in the bedroom).

Do you see people on-line or in-person?

We start meeting online via Zoom and if you are local we can integrate meeting in-person in a nature based setting if that feels appropriate.

Do you take insurance or HSA?

No, we do not take any insurance. Regarding HSA, while we are open to exploring the option, we cannot guarantee acceptance.

What is your cancellation/reschedule policy?

We require 48 hour notice of cancellation/reschedule or you will be charged for your appointment, we take healing and our time together seriously. An exception may be made in the case of an emergency or extenuating circumstances.

How is this different from talk therapy or traditional coaching?

Both talk therapy and traditional coaching rely on the cognitive processing of the brain alone to digest the pain/trauma/complex-experiences. While this can be helpful, supportive, and healing to a point, these leave out the body, heart, gut, and soul; thus resulting in partial or incomplete healing.

The Soulmatic approach is rooted in knowing that given the chance the body will return to health. When we are in conversation with our bodies/soul healing happens without effort or force. We don’t have to have the answers – by simply learning to listen into the wisdom and intelligence of the body-soul, we can shift from survival-mode to thriving. The space of magic, health, abundance, creation, peace, and fulfillment. We invite our clients to lean in and take ownership of their life, choices, and actions, without shame or judgment but with kindness, compassion, and curiosity.

What if I am unsure and want to try out a session before I commit?

It is important that working together feels like a yes for you/us. We invite you to schedule a free consultation to feel it out, ask questions, and get to know us better. We understand that establishing trust and safety for the body and nervous system to heal takes time, because of this we only offer our services in packages. We also offer VIP Days for folx who want to dive into support and resources on a deeper level in one off offering. Masterclass or group containers is another way to work with us and get a taste of Soulmatic.

If you have additional questions not answered here, please contact me or schedule a free consultation.
